BART's Industrial Design team has significant expertise in the area of product design and development. We take nothing for granted during the design process, and we conduct tests and methods such as Proof of Concept, FEA, CAD analysis, and ergonomic studies at every stage to ensure that we leave no stone unturned. These checks examine materials durability, form factor, operation ease of use (for improved safety), and user comfort (for greater operational efficiency).

Mechanical Engineers are key members of BART's Design team, bringing their understanding of mechanics, materials science, and structural analysis to the product design process. Mechanical Engineers must be involved in the design and testing of components to ensure that the product works as intended.
